Deputy Minister of Trade Gonca Yılmaz Batur and Mongolia's Ambassador to Ankara Bold Ravdan signed the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Free Zones Area" in order to develop relations mutually.
The signing ceremony was held at the Ministry of Trade with the participation of Deputy Minister of Trade Gonca Yılmaz Batur and Mongolia's Ambassador to Ankara Bold Ravdan.
In his speech here, Batur said that the memorandum of understanding in the field of free zones was based on intensive work.
Stating that they will reap the fruits of the work at the 2018th Joint Trade and Economy Committee Meeting held in Ulanbator, the capital of Mongolia, in 8, Batur said that they have reflected the results of the efforts made since that day into the text with the mutual acceptance of both sides.
Batur stated that the text in question will be one of the first steps in a productive and long-term cooperation.
Stating that the memorandum of understanding focuses on free zones, Batur said, "We will have the opportunity to share our experiences mutually and we will be able to transfer the legislation and practices of the two countries to each other." said.
Stating that the trade volume of the two countries was realized below the expected figure with 2020 million dollars in 34, Batur said that considering the historical and cultural relations of the parties, the trade volume and the number of products subject to trade should increase.
Batur added that with the signed agreement, free zones will also start to contribute to common developments in the field of trade and investment.
Bold Ravdan, Ambassador of Mongolia to Ankara, pointed to the brotherhood of the two countries and stated that the trade volume will increase with the signed memorandum.
