China's Sichuan province has prepared a panda-themed tourist train for use by local and foreign tourists. The train, which will travel in Chengdu, the homeland of giant pandas in southwest China, will sail in the rivers of Sichuan's mountains, in the Three Valleys of the Yangtze River, allowing them to discover the mysterious beauty of Southeast China.
Aiming to be a mobile hotel, the 252-seat train has special rooms for soft and hard sleepers. The train, which is also a restaurant wagon, said that the train is set to provide an impressive journey for passengers with comfortable and stylish furniture, secure and smart lock system, bathroom system and 5G connection. Prepared by the China Railway Chengdu Group, the train will also serve local specialties to its guests to help with poverty reduction efforts.
The modernization and transformation of China's first "Panda Train" tourist train was successfully completed on Thursday, January 28, the first travel day of the Spring Festival. There are also thematic wagons such as "Panda's house", "Panda's hut", "Panda's restaurant" and "Panda's paradise" on the train.
