You know the logistics sector as a bureaucrat originating from the Ministry of Transport. What will be the priority projects of your ministry in the logistics sector in the period of your Captain?

One of the most important conditions for strengthening a country's economy is comparative advantage and the other is about resource allocation activity. Therefore, the investments made in transportation and the strength of your logistic infrastructure provide significant contributions to the transportation of the products produced by our regions with the capability of delivering both domestic and foreign buyers in the most modern, fastest and safest way. In the same way, it is possible for the manufacturer to reach the most appropriate inputs with suitable costs for the production in a more qualified and timely manner. In short, the trade means that there are trucks carrying trucks on the roads, trucks in the seas, swimming in the seas, the Ro-Ro's swimming, the trains running on the rails and the planes flying in the skies. Internet access to every home, every time you want to reach the market and information means. Production means; means growth, and when we reinforce it with social and cultural influences, development means prosperity. If you have provided them, the heart of your country is throwing, your economy is growing. As a government, the basis of the developments in transportation and communication in the past 16 year is the desire to provide this infrastructure for our country.

Since Turkey's transport and communications infrastructure has invested approximately 2003 from 502,6 billion. We have extended the length of the road from 6 to 100 thousand 26 kilometers. Before us, only six provinces were connected by a divided path, this number is now 200. We have successfully completed giant-scale road projects such as Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, Osmangazi Bridge and Eurasia Tunnel. 76 has renewed its railroads throughout the year. We made Turkey the world's sixth-eighth of Europe's high-speed train operator in the country. The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Project, the 150 dream of the year, has made our dream dream come true from Marmaray and Far East to Western Europe, Beijing to London. We have established the Turkish owned sea trade fleet as one of the world's first 150 countries. We have an open 15 port facility for international vessels. In addition, we aimed to build a large port in the seas around our country. The works on the construction of the North Aegean / Çandarlı Port superstructure in the Aegean Sea with the build-operate-transfer (BOT) model continue. The construction works of the Port of Filyos started. Studies on Mersin Container Port are ongoing. Again, we have achieved the most important progress in the shipbuilding sector, with high value-added areas requiring advanced technology. In 175, we have increased the number of 2003 shipyards to 37. We made an indisputable brand of yacht production in Turkey, and we rose to third place in the world.

The airway has made the way of the people. In 2002, we increased the flight network from two centers to 25 points, from seven centers to 55. On the international lines, we have increased the number of flight points to 60 to 316. 2002 35 million in the number of passengers 195 million went above. Now 200 3, which can serve million passengers. 29 Airport will be opened in October with the presence of our President. Istanbul New Airport is one of the largest and most important projects in the world with 10,2 billion Euro investment cost and 22,1 billion Euro rental income. This airport, Turkey is very important in terms of Turkey's economy will gain economic power and angle of the display.

China occupy the world agenda in the OBR projects, such as what work you carry out Turkey's Ministry to take part in this project?

İngiltere’yi, Fransa’yı, Belçika’yı, Almanya’yı, Avusturya’yı, Macaristan’ı, Sırbistan’ı, Bulgaristan’ı, Türkiye’yi, Gürcistan’ı, Azerbaycan’ı, Kazakistan’ı, Türkmenistan’ı ve Çin’i birbirine bağlıyor.

In the 100 Daily Action Plan, your channel is owned by Kanal İstanbul and 3. Giant projects such as airports are included. How do the increase in exchange rates affect the projects? What will these investments bring to the Turkish logistics sector?

In line with our understanding of competitiveness of our country and improving the quality of life of our society, we continue to our existing transportation and infrastructure projects in line with our understanding of serving our people in the best possible way, adding new ones to these big investments. We show every effort and determination necessary for achieving the targets for the 100 of our Republic. Within this framework, the projects in the 100 Daily Executive Program announced by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, are undoubtedly of great importance. I would like to express that these projects, in which we are rapidly moving away, will play an active role in economic development and to increase the welfare of the society and contribute to our country to rise above the level of contemporary civilizations.

We will not allow the games played on the exchange rates to interfere in these huge investments, projects that we have determined. However, one of the region's instability in Turkey, despite what conflicts and troubles that you know very well managed. The problems we face at the moment are never impenetrable for us. Free market principles will not be compromised. Our economy will be strengthened by investment and trade. Please note that Turkey has always taken the steps according to the changing situation and will continue to take then.

Istanbul 3. What kind of differences will the airport have from Atatürk Airport in terms of cargo transportation?

The new airport is a very big project and questions are asked about us, what is needed for such a large airport. We are in a tremendous position to reach 3 billion people and 4 trillion dollar market with 1,5-31 hourly flight. In this context, Istanbul, Turkey's external position opened the door, it is located in the center of this traffic, and Istanbul's New Airport to be developed and should be considered to support this position. It is an important element to have such a base that will serve as an activity center for ambitious airline companies globally. At this point, Istanbul New Airport will provide flights to 150 and 350 destinations. Every aircraft, landing or even a plane flying over our country will bring income to our economy.

Therefore, there are those who do not want to make the Istanbul New Airport. Because when Istanbul New Airport is built, Istanbul will become a global aviation center and many airports in the region will lose its importance. Istanbul New Airport will be the new center of global airline companies with its technical facilities and geographical location. Because the shift in trade to Asia-Pacific region, Istanbul New Airport will be the strongest airport in cargo. In addition, giant cargo ships that can not land at Atatürk Airport will be able to land at the New Airport. Super jumbo aircraft such as Airbus A380 and Boeing 747-8 will be able to approach our new terminal easily. Airlines are not operating flights to Turkey will do no more. The size of the cargo area is exactly 1,4 million m². So 240 has a cargo area that is the size of a football field. The cargo capacity will be 5,5 million tons.

100 of the Republic. What kind of logistics sector do you imagine?

First of all, the future period of trade will be the period of the regions where our geography is located. We believe that; The region will be much more important in terms of transportation, trade and tourism in the future, and will be discussed much more in Anatolia, Caucasus, Central Asia and even west of China. OBOR also has a large share in this. Therefore, as soon as Turkey Asia, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, the Caucasus and the Black Sea between northern countries are trying to turn this into an international corridor in all modes of transport. Efforts are dialing or an international corridor in Turkey in all modes of transportation in Turkey's recent economic success has demonstrated 16 years.

As I mentioned a little while ago Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, Osmangazi Bridge, Eurasia Tunnel, Istanbul giants such as our new airport project, are important investments in Turkey will turn to the international corridors. However, in order to respond to the demand which will increase with a Belt Road Project, we have started to establish the logistic villages in order to provide all the services required by the logistics sector, which unites all modes of transportation under one roof. Eight of the 21 logistics centers, which are planned to be constructed in this context, have started to operate and the construction of one has been completed. The construction of all five continues. I believe that any investment we make in the logistics sector, especially in the railway sector, will make our country, which is located at the junction of east-west and north-south goods flow whose potential exceeds 2 trillion dollars, will become an effective logistics base. Starting from China, which is called cek Middle Corridor “, the line that will connect Central Asia and Caspian region to Europe via our country will turn into the future's trade line.
