Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which intervened in the areas affected by snowfall yesterday evening, completed its work in the 50 neighborhood with snow shovels and salt spreading tools in three regions. Metropolitan teams are vigilant for possible possible snowfall.
With the sudden decrease in air temperatures, snowfall started to be effective in the higher parts of Izmir. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality teams started working hard to keep the village roads open. The Metropolitan teams, who were alarmed with the onset of snowfall, opened the roads that were blocked in some parts of the city with salt spreading and snow plow tools. The Metropolitan Municipality is also conducting salting work in areas with ice risk. While the roads blocked by the interventions are reopened to traffic, the teams continue to work in the regions in need.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality works with snow plows and salt spreading vehicles in three regions, namely the Center, North and South. Graders, trucks and construction equipment are kept on alert in case of increased snowfall. Metropolitan teams, in Upper Island of Bergama, Lonely, Scratches, Fasts, Timid, Tiger, İneşir, Rahmanlar, Bayramcılar, Seklik, Ismailli, Horsemen, Balaban, Poultry, Pilgrims, Orphans, Bekirs, Kocahaliller and Kocaköy districts of Bornova, Beşyol, In Çiçekliköy, Evka-4 and Homeros Valley regions, Çiğli Egekent, Esentepe, İzkent and Evka-5, Kemalpaşa's Ovacık, Bayramlı, Sarılar, Yiğitler, Kurudere, Kınık, Karadere, Çanköy, Arapdere, Büyükoba, Kalemköy Completed salting and road opening works in the districts of Yaylaköy, Arpaseki, Örtülü, İbrahimağa, Köseler, Mustaklar, Çiftlikköy, Karatekeli and Kodukburun, and Gölcük neighborhoods of Menemen, Çukurköy and Ödemiş.
