Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that efforts to expand the logistics center network continue unabated in order to reinforce Türkiye’s vision of becoming a global logistics power. Stating that they plan to increase the number of logistics centers from 12 to 25, the minister emphasized that this step is a critical part of the goal of becoming one of the main arteries of international trade.
Among the projects, two important centers that are progressing rapidly attract attention: Rize İyidere Logistics CenterAnd Sivas Logistics Center. Uraloğlu noted that these centers will become the keystones of the logistics infrastructure, drawing strength from the country’s strategic location.
İyidere Port: Transshipment Gate of the Black Sea
İyidere Port has a critical role for commercial cargo coming from the region. hubThe minister stated that this port will centralize the cargo flow between the Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia. The port is expected to serve as a bridge between the countries bordering the Black Sea and European markets. Thus, the trade volume of the Eastern Black Sea region will increase and the regional economy and national export values will strengthen significantly.
