ESTRAM Shared 21 Years of Experience at the Congress

Eskişehir Light Rail System Operation (ESTRAM A.Ş.), one of the subsidiaries of Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, participated in the Rail Systems Congress and Exhibition organised for the second time this year and shared its 21 years of knowledge and innovations brought to the sector.

Organised under the secretariat of TMMOB Chamber of Electrical Engineers Eskişehir Branch, in partnership with TMMOB Chamber of Mechanical Engineers Eskişehir Branch, TMMOB Chamber of Civil Engineers Eskişehir Branch and with the support of Eskişehir Osmangazi University and Eskişehir Technical University, the event brought together all stakeholders in the rail systems sector.

At the ESTRAM stand, the services and technical innovations that the company has brought to Eskişehir transport for 21 years were introduced to the participants. Hakan Murat Bayındır, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ESTRAM, and Cem Tuzcuoğlu, Deputy Technical General Manager of ESTRAM, informed the visitors about ESTRAM’s sustainable transport vision, technological investments and the work they are carrying out on the future of urban rail systems.

In the congress, rolling stock, line planning, construction, operation, maintenance, repair and design, safety, accessibility, electrification, signalling, energy management and strategies to increase the rate of domestic production were discussed.

During the three-day congress, which was opened at Odunpazarı Municipality Hasan Polatkan Cultural Centre, panels, technical sessions, academic presentations and an exhibition area with product presentations of sector companies will be open to visitors.

With its participation in the congress, ESTRAM both conveyed its experience in urban rail systems and strengthened its cooperation with stakeholders in the sector for future transport technologies.
