The accident occurred when a BRT hit another metrobus in front of it from behind while crossing from Europe to Asia. Since the accident, which occurred about 200 meters away from the Beşiktaş turn, happened in slow-moving traffic due to the density, fortunately, there was no death or injury.

Emergency Response teams intervened in a short time after the accident was closed to the right lane traffic and controlled passes were provided. Sandblasting team is expected to reopen the right lane, which is closed due to heavy oil flowing from one of the metrobuses.
