Fast train until Habura will be tendered in 2015

Until Habura, the high-speed train will be tendered in 2015: The budgets of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, the Ministry of Development, the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications and affiliated organizations were accepted at the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

Lütfi Elvan, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, stated that the tender for the construction of the Giresun Eğribel Tunnel ended and the contract was signed, and that the works would be started immediately after the place was delivered.

Asked about the Ankara-Aksaray-Adana-Gaziantep railway line, Elvan answered:

“We currently have a high-speed train line from Ankara to Yerköy. The high-speed train project of the section from Yerköy to Kırşehir, Aksaray, Ulukışla… Not only high speed but high speed train. It will be able to speed up to 200 kilometers. The reason we prefer it as a high speed train is to be able to use it for freight transportation. Therefore, freight transportation is of great importance for the further development of the industry of our provinces such as Kırşehir and Aksaray and our provinces in Central Anatolia. It is an investment currently in our portfolio. We will make this investment in the process. There is a line extending from Konya to Adana, Mersin. Again, we are bidding on the Adana-Gaziantep line in 2015. We will be bidding for a significant portion of the section up to Habur in 2015. "

Elvan said that the Konya ring road will be in the 2015 Investment Program.

Noting that the amount of projects carried out only in the Marmara Region within the framework of the build-operate-transfer model is 10 billion dollars, Elvan said; Noted that it is 6,3 billion dollars.

Stating that every penny of the state is important, Elvan said, "We will do whatever is necessary if there is any action that violates the law or the law in the slightest way."
