Wire fences are being laid on the High Speed Train lines: While investigations and investigations regarding the theft incidents that occurred on the Eskişehir-Ankara High Speed Train (YHT) line passing through Bilecik, wire fences started to be laid around the rails.
In the theft that occurred between the Ankara-Istanbul High Speed Train Project, the 2nd stage tunnel 16 and the tunnel 17, under the Ministry of Transport, General Directorate of State Railways, 530 meters of signaling and communication cable was stolen.
In the 16th and 17th tunnel area where stolen materials are located, wire fences are laid between the train line and the road against external dangers. Ömer Saraç, who works in the study area, stated that the wire fences were made to prevent animals coming from outside and citizens from outside from crossing the YHT rails.
Saraç said, “There were cases of theft that we witnessed from time to time in this region. Here you can see the cables passing through here are cut. We have heard here that time, time is the usual thing, sometimes high amounts of stolen. "I know as a sensation that security companies are traveling," he said.
