Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said the United States was taking decisive steps to make Russia end its ‘brutal’ war of aggression against Ukraine. Sybiha stated that they welcomed the strong energy sanctions approved by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the laws on the Designation of Russia as a State Supporting Terrorism, the REPO Implementation Act and the Stop China and Russia Act:
“These moves demonstrate the strong leadership of President Trump and his administration, as well as the bipartisan and bicameral support of the US Congress. Maximum pressure on Russia and cutting off the war machine’s funding sources are the means to move closer to a comprehensive, just and lasting peace.”
