Free kwifi service on the train: Dutch Railways NS passengers will continue to use free wireless internet (wifi) on intercity trains in the coming years.
On Wednesday, the national railway passenger transport plan offered by NS said free wifi would continue on trains.
The free wifi service is now available through the T-Mobile network. Since a month, only the 'Wifi network in train' name is used to prevent contact with T-Mobile in the event of a breakdown. Because the speed of the network has always been the subject of complaint.
This new name will also make it easy for NS to choose a new network provider. T-Mobile had a contract with NS until April 1. However, that contract was temporarily extended until the results of the public tender were received. NS sözcüSü said that it is expected that the necessary announcement regarding the new contract will be made before the summer.
