New developments and explanations continue to be made every day on the railway planned to be built in the Black Sea. In this context, the head of Giresun / Tirebolu Harşit Valley railway platform, Sedat PİR, made some statements.
PIR, the head of the railway platform, said:
As Giresun / Tirebolu Railway platform, we have been working for about 5 years (since 2008). We have been carrying out a certain part of these works as individuals and the part of them in recent years as a "Railway platform." We stated that no government has been able to carry out this project for about 150 years and that the AK Party government and their governments have taken it from the dusty shelves to make this project.
In the meetings and seminars held in the center of Giresun, Gümüşhane and Trabzon, we explained that these thoughts are not just our ideas, and that dozens of professors and scientists who are experts in this field shout that the railway to be built should meet the Black Sea based in Tirebolu. Approximately 5 years have passed. The work has progressed slowly. We have always followed by a mile. Nothing is finished yet and nothing has been officially announced. But good developments are continuing. The latest Trabzon Minister of Environment and Urbanization, Mr. Erdogan Bayraktar. He made a statement 3 days ago. This statement is a proof that the Railway will pass through Tirebolu for now. However, Mr. Minister has made many different statements until this time. As the elite Railway Platform, we will continue to follow everything to the finest detail. All kinds of information and support in our work. I would like to thank Ak Parti Giresun deputy and group deputy Nurettin Canikli, who welcomed my meeting appointments many times, and we will not be complacent with these positive statements. We will continue our work with the same meticulousness.
Environment and Urbanization Minister Bayraktar announced that they planned a railway line between Trabzon and Diyarbakir to ensure the connection of the Black Sea with the GAP, Syria and Iraq, and said:
We are working on the details of the Trabzon-Gümüşhane-Erzincan Railway Project. This project, which we think of as a High Speed ​​Train Project, starts from Erzincan where the national railway connection is located and it reaches Trabzon from Gümüşhane. It is even predicted that the 250 mileage per hour.
It is planned to reach Trabzon from Torul district of Gümüşhane. 100 physical realization of the project has been reached and the work on the project is continuing.
We are planning an 630 kilometer long railway line between Trabzon-Tirebolu-Gümüşhane-Erzincan-Diyarbakır for the connection of the Black Sea with the GAP, Syria and Iraq.
