An underwater viewing event was held in cooperation with Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality and Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF).
In the event organized to promote Ayvalık's underwater riches and red corals, 31 people, including Underwater Imaging National Team athletes Eser Pasha and Ali Şener, dived for two days and took pictures.
The program, attended by TSSF President Oğuz Aydın, the members of the board of directors and the provincial representative, the heads of departments and branch managers of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, and many guests, ended with a presentation.
Speaking in the program, Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yücel Yılmaz stated that red corals are very valuable for Balıkesir, and that more than 100 underwater photographs and video works are used in the promotion of the province and have an important document value.
Noting that they will open a big exhibition, Chairman Yılmaz noted that the exhibition and promotional films will be shown to the whole world at international fairs.
