After the completion of the tender for the construction of the Patara Bridge, which the people of the region have been waiting for a long time, which will unite Seydikemer and Kaş, the construction of the bridge began.

After the tender held on 16 August for the Patara Bridge to be built on the Eşen Stream between the Kumluova District of Seydikemer and the Ova District of Kaş, the contractor firm started work. The contractor company, which started the construction of the bridge after the feasibility studies in the field, is planned to build the bridge within 300 days. The start of the construction work of the bridge, which will be 110 meters long and 17,5 meters wide, was also welcomed by the residents of the region.

The “Patara Bridge”, which will unite different destinations such as nature, sea and cultural tourism, will facilitate transportation between the Seydikemer district of Muğla and Kaş district of Antalya. Especially the producers producing greenhouse vegetables will experience great convenience in taking their products to the markets in the region during the season.

Announcing the start of the construction of the Patara Bridge, which is expected to add momentum to tourism, Seydikemer Mayor Yakup Otgöz said; “We have implemented one of the investments we promised to our Seydikemer. We are proud of being a district known for investments and projects. Thanks to these investments, our district is gaining value day by day. The bridge to be built between Kumluova District and Ova District of Kaş will also be a bridge of heart between two different districts. The contractor firm started the construction phase recently. Hopefully, it will be completed as soon as possible and opened to the service of our people. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the realization of this bridge. I hope it will be beneficial for our Seydikemer, Muğla and our country.” Said.
