M11 (Gayrettepe – Istanbul Airport – Halkalı) Metro Line, on the European side of Istanbul, Gayrettepe, Istanbul Airport and HalkalıBy connecting the airport to each other, it will both ease the passengers going to the airport economically and provide convenience in transportation.
Gayrettepe, Kağıthane - Istanbul Airport metro will serve 37,5 million passengers with its current capacity by connecting 4 districts on a 120 kilometer route. With this project, the distance between Istanbul Airport and Taksim will be 30 minutes.
The metro, which has a daily capacity of 9 thousand passengers between 600 stations in total, will go 120 kilometers per hour and will be the fastest metro in Turkey.
“Gayrettepe – Istanbul Airport” and “Istanbul Airport – HalkalıIt was built in two stages. The route of the metro line is between Gayrettepe - Istanbul Airport, 8 stations, Istanbul Airport - Halkalı It consists of 9 stations.
