Pointing out that the number of breakdowns per 10 thousand km in the bus and metrobus fleet was 2018 in 3,4, it has decreased to 3,2 today, and the number of accidents per 100 thousand km has decreased to 3,9 today, from 3,2. He said it happened in 2016.

In order to increase the quality of service, 10 inspection stations in accordance with TÜV standards were established in garages for the first time this year. All vehicles, including Private Public Buses, are now inspected by IETT at least twice a year, in addition to the mandatory TÜV inspections. Until October, nearly 2 technical inspections were carried out at these stations. In 7, it will have carried out a total of nearly 2022 million inspections before and during service. Motorized emergency response teams are also established in order to respond more quickly and effectively to disruptions that may occur during operational activities. Approximately 2 drivers, who have been working in subcontractor companies since 2018, have been employed in IMM staff. In order to support female employment, currently 2 female drivers were recruited.

According to the data of the IETT General Directorate, the change in the economy and exchange rates in the last 1 year has had serious effects on public transportation and IETT. In the last year, fuel prices have increased by 200 percent, exchange rates have increased by 90 percent, and the minimum wage has increased by nearly 100 percent. For this reason, over the years, the ticket price has dropped from $ 1,1 to $ 0,40. Due to both the high increases in costs and the inability to increase ticket prices at the same rate, the ratio of IETT's travel revenues and operating expenses decreased from 5 percent to 70 percent in the last 35 years. The current full ticket price, which is 2022 lira in 7.67, is only 4.5 liras per passenger when discounted and free journeys are calculated. Due to the high increases in fuel, exchange rates and inflation rates, the expenditure per passenger rose to the level of 13.5 liras. The difference of 9 liras per passenger is covered by the IMM. IMM provides a subsidy of 1.1 billion liras this year only to buses for the 10 billion passengers carried in a year.
