Approximately 19 million students at primary, secondary and high school levels will have their first midterm break of the 14-18 academic year on November 2022-2023. Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer, who wanted the students to have a pleasant time in the nine-day period with the weekend, wished all teachers and students a happy holiday.
The first semester break will start on Monday, November 14, 2022 and will end on Friday, November 18.
Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer addressed the students on the last day of school:
“Dear children, I hope that you have a lot of rest and spend time with your best friend books, which has reached nine days with the weekend.”
Minister Özer said, “Dear students and esteemed teachers, I wish you a happy and enjoyable holiday, and we hope to meet you again at our schools on Monday, 21 November in good health.” said.
Reminding that the professional study programs of the teachers will be held online, Özer said, “Our teachers will be able to complete their professional studies through the Teacher Informatics Network (ÖBA) without going to school. The e-library, which contains a special selection of books published by the Ministry of National Education, is also waiting for our teachers on the ÖBA.” used his statements.
In addition to new education topics, ÖBA will include 77 education topics published from the past to the present. It will be sufficient for teachers to complete any training they have not received before.
After the midterm break, students will start classes again on November 21. It will be the semester break on January 23-February 3, 2023, and the second break on April 17-20, 2023.
The education period, which started on September 12, 2022, will end on June 16, 2023.
