Great Interest in Orienteering Competition in Karabakh

In the event where a total of 44 teams competed, students had the opportunity to demonstrate their map usage skills, sports skills and teamwork skills.

Pointing out that orienteering is a sport that everyone from seven to seventy can easily do, Izmir Provincial Director of National Education Dr. Ömer Yahşi noted: “Within the scope of the week of April 23; We have many activities from culture to art, from sports to education. Orienteering competition, one of these events, is one of our sports events that provides added value in many areas such as tourism. We are very happy with the devoted work of our students in the competitions for which we have prepared the ground for national and international championships. "The sacrifices and support of our families form the basis of our children's success."

EXCITING CHALLENGE ON DIFFICULT TRACKS

Throughout the competition, participants showed off their skills on challenging tracks and fought fiercely to find the targets set with the maps and compasses in their hands. The performance of the students once again demonstrated the importance of sports and sweet competition.

RANKING SCHOOLS ARE ANNOUNCED

As a result of the competition, Şehit Egemen Öztürk Secondary School came first in the girls category, while Mustafa Baykaş Secondary School took the second place. In the boys category, İyiburnaz Secondary School came first, while Ülkü Secondary School came second. While Delta College and Rakım Erkutlu Secondary School shared the third place, the fourth prize went to Eserkent Şehit İbrahim Okçu Secondary School and Emirsultan Secondary School.
