Adile Naşit or, in her actual name, Adela Özcan (17 June 1930, Istanbul - 11 December 1987, Istanbul), Turkish film actor, theater actor and television presenter.


Adile Naşit's father, who comes from a theater family, is comedian Comic-i Şehir Naşit and her mother is Amelya Hanım. Mrs. Amelya is Armenian by mother and Greek by father. His grandfather Kemani Yorgo Efendi, his grandmother, is one of the famous cantomans of his time and his nickname is Little Vergin. Her older brother Selim Naşit and her first wife Ziya Keskiner, who married in 1950, are theater actors. Adile Naşit secretly married Cemal İnce (1982-16) on September 1983, 1928, after the death of his wife Ziya Keskiner in July 2015.

Adile Naşit lost her 16-year-old son Ahmet on June 16, 1966. Although the heart surgery of Ahmet, whose heart was a hole, was successful, he later fell into a coma and could not be saved.

In the world of cinema, Adile Naşit, who is famous for her role as “Mother” in the films she played with Münir Özkul, as well as her role in the films adapted from the famous work Hababam Class of Rıfat Ilgaz, Adile Naşit was born on December 11, 1987 in Istanbul. He died as a result of bowel cancer when he was aged. The funeral ceremony was held on 57 December 13 in Şişli Mosque. After the funeral prayer performed at noon, he was buried in Karacaahmet Cemetery. First wife Ziya Keskiner and her son Ahmet Keskiner (1987-1951) lie together in the Istanbul Karacaahmet cemetery.

Beginning of the theater

Adile Naşit, who dropped out after her father died, entered the Istanbul City Theater, Children's Theater at the age of 14. Adile Naşit, who went on an Istanbul tour with the play “A Little Above Everything” in Halide Pişkin's group, later entered the theater of Muammer Karaca. He worked with comedian Aziz Basmacı and Vahi Öz between 1948-1951. He later worked in the theater of Muammer Karaca, where he returned in 1954, until 1960. After the Naşit Theater, which they established with his wife Ziya Keskiner and his brother Selim Naşit Özcan in 1961, disbanded, he worked in the theater “Gazanfer Özcan - Gönül Ülkü” from 1963 to 1975. In addition to theater plays, he was appreciated in musicals such as the Sensitive Wonders Kumpanyası, Neşe-i Muhabbet, Şen Sazın Bülbülü.

Cinema career

His entrance to the cinema was in 1947 with the movie Yara directed by Seyfi Havaeri, but he began to take an intensive role in the movies in the 1970s. In 1976, she won the Best Actress award at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival for her role in the movie Here's Hayat. He gained great acclaim for his role in the Hababam Class film series. In 1978, he began to take part in the theaters and musicals of the International Art Shows. He mostly acted in the comics of Ertem Eğilmez and Kartal Tibet.

Storyteller Aunt

After losing his only child Ahmet, he turned towards the children. Teyze Masalcı started to be known as the storyteller aunt on TRT in 1980 with the children's program called Before Sleep, produced by İlhan Şengün (1946-2003), one of the producers of TRT Ankara Television. This program, which tells fairy tales and stories, attracted great attention from children during the single-channel television period.
