Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality has signed a new decision for public transport within the scope of corona virus measures. Some of the public transport used by the citizens used money. COIN RIDES TAKING UP
In this context, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department completely removes tolls in public transportation vehicles throughout Kocaeli. Citizens of Kocaeli will use KocaeliKart in their public transportation vehicles. The decision taken in line with the Public Sanitary Law No. 1593 will be implemented on Wednesday, April 1.
KOCAELİ CARD WILL BE USED
Citizens who use public transport will be required to use Kocaeli Card instead of money as of April 1. Citizens are required to provide Kocaeli Cards to avoid victimization. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality informed the transporters in the region about the new decision.
