Nissibi is coming to Adıyaman

Nissibi is coming to Adıyaman: There are few days left for a dream of the Southeastern Anatolia Region to come true. Adiyaman rising Nissib is one of Turkey's Bosphorus and Fatih Sultan Mehmet bridges will line the next largest. The bridge is 100 percent domestic capital made the first big projects and Turkey's first 'tense Cable Stayed Bridge' with that feature. Nissibi will accelerate the socio-economic development in cities such as Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Mardin, and Şanlıurfa in the region that started to strike with the solution process.
BASED ON 2 YEARS FIRST
AK Party Group Deputy Chairman and Adıyaman Deputy Ahmet Aydın said that the 610-meter-long bridge, whose last segment will be installed in a few weeks, will be opened by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The Nissibi Bridge, which provided the highway between Adıyaman and Diyarbakır due to the Atatürk Dam, which was built in 1983 and completed in 1992, was flooded with the former Samsat district and dozens of villages. Although transportation in the region was made by ferries, Adıyaman turned into a dead end with the closure of this road, which is one of the most important transit passes of the East and West. Road transportation between the two cities was provided through Şanlıurfa. For the renewal of the bridge, which is of great importance for the Southeastern Anatolia Region, the General Directorate of Highways opened a tender for the construction of a new bridge on the Atatürk Dam Pond. The Turkish company Gülsan, which won the tender, started working with the project, which was 100 percent local for the first time. The foundation of the new Nissibi Bridge, named after the old bridge, was laid on February 26, 2012 by Binali Yıldırım, the former Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications.
THE LARGEST THIRD BRIDGE WILL BE
Bogazici (1.074 meters) and Fatih Sultan Mehmet (1.090 meters), followed by Turkey, which is the largest bridge's main span of 400 meters Nissibi. With the approach viaducts, the length will be 610 meters. The feet on both sides of the bridge, which will shorten the highway distance between Diyarbakır and Adıyaman by at least 60 kilometers, are 96 meters high.
