For us, expanding the capacity of the vehicle that can be used in the metrobus line rather than expanding the vehicle fleet is a more important criterion in terms of business. Currently, two lanes are used in the E5 route, only for departure. This limits the number of vehicles to be used. Therefore, we are working on the maximum utilization of the existing capacity rather than the expansion of the vehicle fleet. Therefore, we have plans to buy a high capacity vehicle for use on the Metrobus line.
THE AIR CONDITIONS WERE CHANGED ONE OF THE MOST COMPLAINTS

-We were getting more frequent complaints about this issue in the previous years, but now we don't get much complaints about it. Many of our citizens, thanks to the air conditioners e-mails are coming. Because in 2012 we replaced all air conditioners in our vehicles with high capacity air conditioners. We also maintain their maintenance periodically. We made a film application to our cars on the Metrobus line so that they could not pass the sun in summer. So there's no shortage in the technical sense. It is not possible for our drivers to shut down the ventilation in a malicious manner. Maybe there's a malfunction. Otherwise, all our drivers received instructions especially for the full capacity of air conditioners.
LAST PROJECT
-Metrobus is a very nice investment, but occasionally experiencing disruptions. What kind of responses do you get from these problems and what kind of solutions do you produce?
-Metrobus is a very busy line, so people are usually tense. This can be understood from the way passengers embark on vehicles in the morning and evening. The patience and hardiness of the citizen is not experienced in the Metrobüs line due to the similar situations in normal lines when there is a waiting period due to a problem related to security, accidents, accidents or developing security. Metrobüste expected 5 minutes people can come much longer. The crowd on the stop and the tension of the people can make the citizens more nervous. Then the complaints reflected on us is increasing. In such cases, we are sending our vehicles to those stations by adding vehicles. We inform our passengers with our announcements. If there is an accident in the 5 within the line in the appropriate areas waiting for the emergency response vehicles intervene in the event. We have signed a protocol with TUBITAK for a month, with the aim of increasing the efficiency of both Metrobus and all bus lines and taking measures against future problems. With this project, we will re-optimize our metrobus and all bus lines and create a more flexible line structure. In addition, this work, all our lines of metro, tram, train, seaway and so on. it is also of great importance in terms of ensuring integration with other systems. If this project, which we believe will be an exemplary model that reduces the waiting time and travel time at the stops, will reach the ultimate goal of the project.
THE DEVELOPMENT OF TUBITAK
TÜBİTAK's ırım Flexible Transportation Line Project m will be carried out for IETT and studies will be conducted on comfort, speed, efficiency and capacity increase in metrobus and bus lines.
In order to investigate the problems experienced in metrobus and bus lines in Istanbul and find methods to be solved, the sorun Flexible Transportation Line Project rob protocol was signed between TÜBİTAK and IETT. Within the scope of the signed agreement, various arrangements will be made by taking the x-ray of public transportation in Istanbul.

System analysis, modeling and simulation studies will be carried out to increase the capacity of the BRT system in the first six months. In the second stage, bus lines will be examined in terms of stops, passengers and vehicles. The project, which aims to carry passengers in a more efficient and comfortable way, will consist of a busy work package that will last for a year. It was emphasized that the study will be an optimization process that will increase the capacity of both metrobus and bus lines.
It is thought that metrobus and bus systems that will increase the capacity, efficiency and comfort of the project results will contribute to the solution of the chronic traffic problem.
