New Generation Stops Will Suit the Bicycle City Sakarya

With the slogan of 'Bicycle City', the Metropolitan Municipality is carrying out activities that will increase the use of bicycles in the city. In this context, 100 new generation bicycle stops will be used throughout the city. One of them was set up in front of the Wagon Coffeehouse.
The Metropolitan Municipality maintains its claim to the 'Bicycle City Sakarya' by hosting international tournaments and championships, as well as by its efforts to encourage citizens to use bicycles. In order to spread the use of bicycles in all areas of life, bicycle stops are installed in various parts of the city. In this context, old bicycle stands, which have been deformed over time, are dismantled and replaced with new bicycle stands, which have a safer system for bicycles. With the improvements it has made on the existing stops, the Metropolitan Municipality has increased the factors such as bicycle safety and capacity increase to the highest level. Bicycles can be parked above the current capacity by paving the way for double-sided bicycle parking at the redesigned stops. In this context, one of the final assemblies was made next to the Wagon Coffee House in Vagon Park. Bicycles can now be safely parked in the heavily visited park. In addition, the assembly works of a total of 100 new generation stops at various points of the city continue. When the work is finished, new stops will be put into use all over the city.
