Acceptance activities for 3 of the Super Mushshak trainers to be procured from Pakistan for the Turkish Air Force have been completed.

At the ceremony held at the IDEF 2017 International Defense Industry Fair, Turkey signed a contract to purchase 52 Super Mushshak aircraft from Pakistan, which will be used in the training of warplane pilots. The acceptance activities of three Super Mushshak aircraft produced by Pakistan within the scope of the contract were completed and entered into the inventory of the Air Force Command. The Ministry of National Defense announced the development from its official Twitter account;

Test flights of the training aircraft to be supplied were continuing as of February 2021. The Super Mushshak aircraft with tail number 21-001, produced for the Turkish Air Force, was captured in flight. With the Super Mushshak Initial Training Aircraft, which will replace the T-41 and SF-260 aircraft used in the initial training of pilots, it is planned to decrease the training costs and increase the training quality and capacity with additional features, especially aerobatics.

The Super Mushshak, a single-engine trainer aircraft designed by the Swedish aviation company Saab in the 1970s, and then the design and production rights were sold to Pakistan, was exported to more than 10 countries.
