TEM's Gebze Route Turns Green

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which gave a breath of fresh air to Gebze traffic with the 'Gebze TEM Highway Bridges Connection Roads 1st Stage Project', which was put into service a while ago, has now started to work on planting the TEM Highway Gebze route. As part of the afforestation works initiated by the Metropolitan Municipality on behalf of a greener Kocaeli, the sides of the Gebze TEM Highway side roads and connection roads will turn green.

IT IS BUILT IN 72 THOUSAND SQUARE METERS

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which carries out environmentally sensitive studies, continues its project to afforest the edges of the TEM Highway. Afforestation and greening works carried out in this context started on the route of Gebze TEM Highway Bridges Connection Roads, which the Metropolitan completed and put into service a while ago. Accordingly, the teams carried out afforestation work on an area of ​​approximately 72 thousand square meters in the 5st and 150nd stages, where 1 trucks of soil were laid in the afforestation campaign consisting of 2 thousand square meters and 23 stages.

THOUSAND 49 TREES PLANTED

In the works carried out by the Department of Parks and Gardens, a total of 835 trees, including 37 Taurus Cedars, 67 Ash Trees, 110 Ornamental Apples and 49 Sugar Maple Trees, were planted on the edges of the TEM Highway Gebze route, and the highway was surrounded by green.

GERDING STUDY

The Gebze crossing of the TEM Highway will turn into a green belt with forestation works. The Metropolitan has laid an irrigation line so that the planted trees do not dry out in the summer season. In this context, the Metropolitan teams, which have laid a 5 thousand meter irrigation line on the side of the TEM Highway Gebze route, will soon start the germination work in the region.
