An important stage in the development process of Bayraktar KIZILELMA, which will serve as the first unmanned fighter aircraft of our country, which Baykar has developed with its own resources, has been successfully completed. Bayraktar KIZILELMA successfully passed the first Automatic Taxi and Running Test.

SELÇUK BAYRAKTAR DIRECTED

Bayraktar KIZILELMA was transferred to AKINCI Flight Training and Test Center in Çorlu, Tekirdağ at the beginning of the week. Here, the Automatic Taxi Tests with safety ties were successfully completed. Today, the first Automatic Taxi and Running Test conducted without safety ties, directed by Baykar Chairman of the Board and Technology Leader Selçuk Bayraktar, was successfully completed. Thus, Bayraktar KIZILELMA was one step closer to its first flight.

LANDING AND TAKING off SHIPS WITH SHORT RUNWAYS

Bayraktar KIZILELMA will be a platform that will revolutionize the battlefield with its landing and take-off capability, especially for ships with short runways. Bayraktar KIZILELMA, which has been developed to have the ability to land and take off on short-runway ships such as the TCG Anadolu ship, which Turkey has built and is currently conducting cruise tests, will play an important role in overseas missions thanks to this capability. With this capability, it will assume a strategic role in the protection of the Blue Homeland.

LOW RADAR VISIBILITY

Bayraktar KIZILELMA will successfully accomplish the most challenging missions thanks to the low radar signature it will obtain from its design. Turkey's first unmanned fighter aircraft, which is aimed to have a take-off weight of 6 tons, will use all nationally developed ammunition and will be a great power multiplier with a planned 1500 kilogram payload capacity. The unmanned fighter aircraft will also have high situational awareness with the national AESA radar.

BALANCES WILL CHANGE ON THE WAR FIELD

Bayraktar KIZILELMA, which can perform air-air combat like manned warplanes with aggressive maneuvers, unlike unmanned aerial vehicles, will also provide effectiveness against air targets with domestic air-air munitions. With these abilities, he will change the balance on the battlefield.

SIMILAR PROCESS WITH BAYRAKTAR AKINCI

A similar process was experienced in Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA, which was developed nationally and originally by Baykar within the scope of the “AKINCI” project carried out under the leadership of the Presidency of Defense Industries. AKINCI, which completed its first Taxi Test in November 3, exactly 2019 years ago, successfully performed its first flight on 6 December 2019. AKINCI entered the inventory on 1.5 August 29, approximately 2021 years after its first flight. Bayraktar is proceeding with a similar process at KIZILELMA. Bayraktar KIZILELMA, Turkey's first unmanned fighter aircraft, developed by Baykar with its 20 years of deep technology and experience, will continue its ground tests. The first flight is planned for the near future.

98% OF INCOME FROM EXPORTS

Baykar has earned 20% of its total revenue from exports since the first time it started developing unmanned aerial vehicles about 75 years ago. Announced as the export leader in the defense and aerospace sectors by the Turkish Exporters Assembly in 2021, 2022% of the contracts signed by Baykar in 98 consist of export agreements. As of 2022, Baykar signed export contracts with 2 countries for Bayraktar TB24 SİHAs and with 5 countries for Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA.
