Performance tests were carried out using ATOM 40 mm High Speed Intelligent Grenade Launcher Ammunition, ATNİS-10 Thermal Sight and MK19 weapon, with the participation of representatives from the Presidency of Defense Industries and the Gendarmerie General Command, within the scope of the test contract prepared upon the request of the Presidency of Defense Industries. The ATOM-ATNIS-10 combination, which proved itself with its shooting test activities, was highly appreciated by the user.
ATOM 40mm
ATOM 40 mm High Speed Intelligent Grenade Launcher Ammunition was developed with the resources of ASELSAN and MKE. The ammunition in question can be programmed to split in the air as it exits the barrel by means of special electromechanical components inside.
When it arrives at the targeted place, more than five hundred steel particles separated from the shrapnel-effect body and the explosive filling inside the body, snipers hidden inside the building, terrorist groups hidden between the buildings in the city, suture / trench, etc. It can be effective against threats hidden behind structures or positioned in trenches, infantry units scattered over the terrain, and unarmored vehicles.
ATNIS-10
With the ATNIS-10 Grenade Launcher and High Caliber Thermal Weapon Sight developed by ASELSAN, high firing performance in all conditions is offered in a single product for different platforms. The system, which enables the detection and precise distance measurement of vehicle targets from 4 km, can also provide a point shooting opportunity up to 40 meters for 1500 mm Grenade Launcher Platforms.
The system can also be used with 12.7 mm 14.5 mm heavy machine guns. It continues to guarantee a high hit probability for these platforms, even under difficult conditions, with its ballistic calculation capabilities and internal precision inclination and distance measurement capabilities.
