As one of Turkey's leading logistics service providers for 37 years, Alishan Logistics continues to make a name for itself with its investments in digital transformation and effective use of technology. The company was most recently awarded with the TMS AKS project in the "Cloud Implementation" category at the "2022 Future of Cloud Awards" competition organized by the CIO Magazine.

The results of the "2022 Future of Cloud Awards", which rewards the best cloud projects among companies that have embarked on a cloud journey, have been announced. Jury members, consisting of CIOs, academics and industry opinion leaders, evaluated the most successful cloud projects. In the competition held in 6 categories, Alisan Logistics won the best "Cloud Implementation" award by modernizing applications and technology.

With its services such as international transportation, warehouse / warehouse, bulk dry cargo, bulk liquid and energy transportation offered to its customers in the chemical industry, FMCG, food, agriculture and many other sectors, especially hazardous chemicals, since 1985. crowned its digital journey, which it accelerated with Microsoft Global cooperation in 2021, with an award. Finally, it was deemed worthy of an award with its “TMS, Transport Applications” in the “2022 Future of Cloud Awards” competition, organized by CIO Magazine and where the most important names of the Cloud Computing industry came together and evaluated the best cloud projects.

Stating that they aim to continue their pioneering actions in the sector by designing new working and doing business modules in accordance with the requirements of the age in technology and digitalization, Alisan Logistics Vice Chairman of the Board Damla Alishan said, “As Alişan, we would like to thank everyone who deemed us worthy of this award and contributed to the project. As you know, our digitalization journey started in 2021 as part of the cooperation agreement we initiated with Microsoft Global, and within this scope, applications, databases, server systems, in-house communication systems and reporting systems were designed in accordance with cloud technologies; It was moved to the Microsoft Azure system considering the business continuity of our institution. With this cooperation, we not only ensured the business continuity we achieved in our business processes in Western and Northern Europe, but also transitioned to a more efficient intranet environment in internal communication. With this change, we have not only gained from the workforce, but also have a living page that is always up-to-date, accessible from anywhere, and used by all employees in a practical way.” Damla Alishan added that they will continue to take steps that will always make a difference in the sector, to produce projects, and to rapidly continue their investments in digital transformation and effective use of technology.

Alishan Logistics, of which 30% of its customers are foreign brands in the warehouse activity areas and 10% on the shipping side. It also increased productivity with its agile business processes, such as the ability to be shared.
