Stating that the 2nd bridge to be built will relieve the departure and return line, Gençoğlu examined the works carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality Directorate of Science Affairs on site and received information from the authorities. Underlining that the accidents will be prevented after the departure and return line is established, Gençoğlu stated that the contractor firm will complete the construction within 120 working days. Gençoğlu stated that the second bridge to be built next to the bridge on the campus road will be 2 meters long and 76 meters wide.
4 to be completed in months
Stating that the CBU Rectorate's request from Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cengiz Ergün in this direction started the work, Gençoğlu said, “Our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cengiz Ergün approached the request of the rector with sensitivity and gave the order to start the study. Thereupon, we completed the tender procedures and delivered the place to the contractor firm. "After a period of about 4 months, we will complete the 2nd bridge and put it into service, and we will prevent the accidents here."
