İsmail Ogan was born on March 5, 1933 in the Macun village of Aksu District of Antalya. He started wrestling in 1950. His trainers are Yaşar Doğu and Celal Atik. Ogan died on April 27, 2022 at Akdeniz University Hospital, at the age of 89, due to respiratory and multiple organ failure.
