Touristic Diyarbakır Express, which sent off for its first voyage from Ankara Station on April 19, completed its Ankara-Diyarbakır-Ankara expedition and returned to Ankara on April 22.
We asked passengers who participated in the first voyage their impressions.
Muzaffer Esin- Zehra Esin (Retired): This is our first time traveling by sleeper train. We said we couldn't sleep. But we slept and felt very comfortable. This train gives a different pleasure. First, we came to Ankara from Istanbul and visited Anıtkabir and various places. Now we will go to Diyarbakır by this train. We will continue our trip from there. We have two children and grandchildren, we will recommend this train to them too.
Süleyman Damla (Channel 7 TV- Cameraman): This is my first time traveling by sleeper train. I didn't think my journey would be this nice. It is great to realize such a project. We will report on this journey, immortalize it, and pass it on to our citizens.

The staff is very helpful, the organization is very good. We were welcomed very well in the cities we visited. The interest of the public and tradesmen was also intense. I have traveled by high-speed train many times before. I prefer the high speed train between Ankara and Istanbul. It feels more comfortable and easier than flying.
