Kabataş Construction of Mecidiyeköy Station of the Metro Starts Monday: Infrastructure works for the construction of the entrance and exit areas of Mecidiyeköy Station on the Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey Metro Line will start on Monday, July 6.
According to the statement made by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, KabataşBeşiktaş and Halkalı- The Mecidiyeköy Station of the Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey Line, which is one of the axes of the Istanbul Metro, along with the Bahçeşehir extensions, has come to the construction phase.
In this context, the traffic flow between Büyükdere Street and Aytekin Kotil and Ortaklar streets will be achieved by partial stripe contraction. Transit corridors will be established for access to work and buildings.
The Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey line, which is aimed to be completed in 60 days, will carry 70 thousand passengers per hour. This line was later constructed by Beşiktaş-Kabataş and tender preparations are ongoing Halkalı- It will be combined with the subway.
