Afyonkarahisar cuisine hosted Hatay in the Expo area of ​​Hatay Municipality due to the Turkish Cuisine Week held between 21 – 27 May. Promotion campaign continues under the leadership of Mayor Mehmet Zeybek. In this context, our Gastronomy team, who went to Hatay, offered the local and registered delicacies of our city, especially to the Hatay Mayor Lütfü Savaş, Hatay protocol and members of the press.

Within the scope of Afyon Hatay Meeting, the registered flavors of Afyonkarahisar such as Tandoori Soup, Okra dish, Afyon Kebab, Goce Meatballs, Stuffed Leaf, Eggplant Pastry, Hosaf, Cream and Cherry Bread Kadayif were presented. Guests from Hatay admired Afyon cuisine. Afyonkarahisar cuisine received full marks at the dinner organized at Expo 2021 Hatay to further reinforce and develop the cooperation and solidarity between the two sister gastronomy cities. The special organization, where the palates of all guests were delighted, ended after a souvenir photo shoot and gift presentation.

Afyon cuisine must be in Hatay for at least a month. In two weeks, these flavors are not introduced at once. Congratulations, Afyonkarahisar deserved to be a city of gastronomy. In addition, we offered our local delicacies to our guests at the Taste Festival organized by the Governorship of Antakya.
