Ankara Electricity, Coal Gas and Bus Operation Institution (EGO General Directorate) Yenimahalle-Şentepe Cable Car Operation announcement system has been renewed and activated.
The announcement system of the Cable Car Line, which was established during its construction in 2014, can be announced with a microphone, recording etc. It was a technically simple system with no features. This system has never been operated until today after a malfunction in 2015.
Within the scope of the heavy maintenance works started on the entire ropeway line after the pandemic, the announcement system at 4 ropeway stations was also renewed; A new announcement system, which is digital, has a recording system, has a bluetooth feature, provides announcement and communication from a single center when necessary, and is compatible with today's technology, has been put into service.
No payment was made from the budget of the EGO General Directorate for the establishment of this system, the entire cost was covered by the relevant insurance company.
