İZDENİZ personnel collected money among themselves and gave iftar for a thousand people in the neighborhood where Martyr Infantry Ensign Abdullah Kürşat Kupşen's family lived.

İZDENİZ, the company of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, which maintains public transportation services at sea, gave iftar to increase solidarity in Ramadan. Iftar for a thousand people was held in the Buca Yeşilbağlar District, where the family of Infantry Ensign Abdullah Kürşat Kupşen, who lost his balance and fell into the Hacıbey Stream on 31 March during the search and screening activities on the Hakkari-Iraq border, was martyred. İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Mustafa Özuslu, İZDENİZ Chairman of the Board Osman Hakan Erşen and İZDENİZ General Manager Ümit Yılmaz also attended the fast-breaking meal. Martyr Infantry Ensign Abdullah Kürşat Kupşen's mother Necla Kupşen, her father Fikret Kupşen and the locals broke their fast with prayers.
