“CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OUR ATHLETES”

Stating that he tried to follow the competitions in the championship despite his intense work pace, İmamoğlu said, “It was also valuable to win the most medals. We congratulate both our athletes, our valuable teachers and our president. Of course, we congratulate all our wrestlers, not only our municipality, not our club. Of course, we would like you to convey our greetings to your other friends as well. I hope I wish you good luck," he said. Expressing that he and Keleş met with International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach in Lausanne, to convey that Istanbul aspires to the 2036 Olympics, İmamoğlu said:

“WE NEED TO STRENGTHEN ALL BRANCHES”

“For this city to win the Olympics, we must first achieve success like wrestling in all branches. Wrestling or a few branches alone are not enough for us to become an Olympic country or an Olympic city. We need to strengthen all branches. But in wrestling, as İBB, we need to prove that there is a good infrastructure, by further strengthening the whole of Turkey. It already has a good history, but I think it is necessary to carry it forward and make it even stronger. Of course, our wrestling pride is our biggest locomotive. I also think that we are doing the right thing for the horse to be a sport. In this context, I congratulate and congratulate all of you wholeheartedly. Both our club and our municipality will support your success. No doubt about that. I hope you have good luck. You gave good news in the month of Ramadan.”
