After the increase in transportation costs and ticket prices in Ankara, the round trip cost of a person became a minimum of 13 liras. While citizens were complaining about the hike, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş gave a discount signal in public transportation by sharing a post on his social media account.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş reported on his social media account, "We will bring up the reduction of the full boarding fee to 06.00 TL between 06.45:4.5 and XNUMX:XNUMX in the morning at the UKOME meeting in order to relieve morning traffic and contribute to the budget of Ankara residents. Once it is accepted and the system is harmonized, we will start the implementation immediately.”

The explanation in Yavaş's post is as follows:

“My dear fellow citizens, in order to reduce the intensity of working hours in morning traffic and to contribute to the budget of our citizens, the fact that the full boarding ticket fees in public transportation will be 06.00 TL between 06.45-4,5 hours will be discussed at the first Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME) meeting. In order to be with our fellow citizens in difficult economic conditions, we will continue to offer our services such as water, transportation and public bread without profit, at or below the cost.

The sharing of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş is as follows:
