Spring fatigue is one of the three types of fatigue. Spring fever; It is a seasonal type of fatigue. It shows its effect with the onset of spring. It is the effect of humidity that occurs with the increase of the water evaporating in the sea, with the sun's rays coming to our world at a steeper angle with the end of the winter season and the warming of the weather accordingly. Due to this increasing humidity and air temperature in summer and spring, we experience sweltering days. We feel exhausted and tired.
This moisture causes edema in the nose, throat and airways, reducing the amount of oxygen going to the lungs. In addition, it causes effects such as joint pain, tendency to sleep, distraction, digestive system disorders. Especially in this period, it is of great importance to adapt the mineral balance of the body to the seasons.
Foods that are good for spring fatigue
Water: The first of these is water. In addition to being a nutrient, water plays an incredibly active role in the realization of all kinds of biochemical reactions in our body with the minerals and compounds it contains. Consuming an average of 2.5-3 liters of water daily will help you overcome spring fatigue.
Pineapple: It is recommended to be consumed frequently, especially during dieting periods, due to its edema-repelling feature. Since it has a fibrous structure, it makes the intestines work and provides satiety for a long time. It contains high amount of vitamin C. Vitamin B1 in its structure plays a role in the conversion of carbohydrates into energy.
Strawberry: Due to its high water and fiber ratio, it increases the feeling of satiety and does not increase blood sugar quickly. At the same time, because it contains potassium, it is good for spring fatigue. It has a potential effect on increasing body resistance and immunity.
Avocado: It contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B, B6, C, E, K and minerals such as phosphorus, magnesium, iron, potassium, calcium and zinc, which are necessary to regulate the decreasing vitamin and mineral structure of the body in the spring period. Avocados contain omega-6 fatty acids and are rich in omega-9 fatty acids.
Nuts such as walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds have a high effect on fatigue because they are magnesium stores. Due to the fact that they contain vitamin E and omega-3, they meet the energy needs of our body and prevent situations such as lethargy and fatigue caused by spring fatigue.
Artichoke: Niacin is another food that prevents the feeling of tiredness by removing toxins from our body due to its potassium, vitamins A, C and plenty of fiber. Liver friendly.
