​Gürkan Erdoğan Appointed as İZSU General Manager

Following the resignation of İZSU General Manager Ali Hıdır Köseoğlu, Gürkan Erdoğan, who previously served as Deputy General Manager in the institution, was appointed as the general manager. Erdoğan took over the position from Köseoğlu with a ceremony.

Gürkan Erdoğan, who served as İZSU Deputy General Manager for approximately 2022 years in the previous period, was appointed to replace Ali Hıdır Köseoğlu, who has been serving as the General Director of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality İZSU since June 2,5. CV of General Manager Gürkan Erdoğan: Gürkan Erdoğan was born in Izmir in 1982. He completed his primary, secondary, high school and university education in Izmir. He graduated from Ege University in 2006, completing his undergraduate education in Civil Engineering. In 2012, he received a master's degree with his studies in planning at Ege University and became a Civil Engineer. He started his business life by working in the private sector and the Chamber of Civil Engineers between 2006 and 2009. He started working as a Civil Engineer at the 2009nd Regional Directorate of Highways in 2. He worked as a responsible engineer and completed many projects in the Aegean Region. He started working as the Head of Investment and Construction Department of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Water and Sewerage Administration (İZSU) in July 2019. As of October 2020, he was appointed as İZSU Deputy General Manager. He held this position between 2020-2023. He served as the President of the Chamber of Civil Engineers Izmir Branch between 2016 and 2020.
