Cengiz Holding, chaired by businessman Mehmet Cengiz, will start its railway project in Croatia with 400 million Euros (approximately 3 Billion TL) on May 25, 2020. The project is among the largest projects in the country.
As a result of talks between Mehmet Cengiz and Croatian government officials, it was decided to start the project, which was delayed for a while due to the coronavirus outbreak. The railway project will be the most strategically important project of the country.
400 MILLION EUROS GIANT PROJECT

Slovenia from the project in Turkey, Spain, China, which offer major companies in Austria but had been Cengiz Holding won the tender. The giant project is the most expensive project in terms of infrastructure in Croatia.
In the project, which is planned to be completed by November 2023, infrastructure, superstructure, electrification, signalization and telecommunication works will be carried out within the scope of the 42,6 kilometers long double track railway work. Within the scope of the project, while 9 train stations are being built, 635 bridges / viaducts, the longest of which is 16 meters, will also be built. . The project will also build a 25-kilometer sound protection wall. The most challenging part of the project will be the steel bridge of 338 meters on the Drava river. The European Union will fund 85 percent of the country's strategically important work.
