We increased the length of the divided road to 926 kilometers. By putting the Istanbul-Izmir Highway into service, we have made Izmir almost the next door neighbor of Istanbul. We reduced Izmir-Manisa transportation to 15 minutes. ” he spoke.

Turhan said that the Menemen-Aliağa-Çandarlı Motorway is 56 kilometers with 40 kilometers of highway and 96 kilometers of connection road, and the construction amount is 445 million euros, adding that the highway to the north of the city is 3 lanes, integrated into the Izmir-Istanbul highway.
Pointing that the 2-year-old road intersecting with the highway is also protected by a steel road, Turhan wished the road would be beneficial to the country and the nation.
The Northern Aegean Motorway, which was put into service with targets such as ensuring the safety of life and property, and shortening the travel time, will connect the İzmir-Ankara, İzmir-İstanbul, İzmir-Manisa, İzmir-Aydın, İzmir-Çeşme motorways and will remove the transit traffic flow from the city traffic, Ankara and İzmir-Istanbul will also support high-speed train projects by land.
The North Aegean Highway has a total length of 56 kilometers, including the 40 km highway and 96 km connection roads. Equipped with smart transportation systems technology, the highway will serve with 7 exits and 32 entrances in 24 stations.
With the highway, it is aimed to reduce city traffic in İzmir-Menemen-Aliağa and Çandarlı, to contribute to the economy by saving time and fuel.
