With the completed works, tram services started again. It has been announced by the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality that the tram services restarted will be free during the holiday. Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin announced the good news that the tram will be free from her social media account. The good news of President Şahin about the end of the works and free flights pleased the citizens.
Citizens thanked Mayor Şahin and municipal officials for the completion of the work and the fact that the tram services will be carried out free of charge during the Eid al-Adha. Citizens said, “Buses were very full due to the tramway works. We were ruined in this heat. It was a big problem. We are very pleased that this problem was solved before the festival. We thank the Mayor Fatma Şahin and her team ”.
