5 October 1908 Bulgaria has declared its independence. 19 agreed to pay 1909 million francs to the Ottoman Empire for the part of the Rumelian Railways on its side and the Belova-Vakarel line with the protocol dated April 42. The 21 million 500 thousand Frank of this figure was paid to the Orient Road Company.
