Stating that they were entitled to receive 25 million Euros from the European Union funds for the project in the first place, Aksoy said, “Samsun Logistics Village will be established near Tekkeköy district, approximately 15 kilometers east of Samsun city center. It is 20 kilometers from Samsunport Port, 7 kilometers from Yeşilyurt Port, 5,6 kilometers from Toros Fertilizer Port and 10 kilometers from Çarşamba Airport. Samsun-Ordu highway passes 1,8 kilometers north of the logistics village. Samsun-Ordu highway is the main connection road in the east-west direction and it is also the main road connecting Samsun to Ankara. Samsun-Çarşamba railway line passes right beside Logistics Village. ” he spoke.
Former Minister of Youth and Sports Suat Kilic, who participated in the meeting, gave information about the importance of the project and the added value it would add to the region and thanked those who contributed.
