Meeting from Netanyahu: Gaza and Syria on the agenda

According to Maariv newspaper, it was reported that Prime Minister Netanyahu held a summit with security officials regarding Turkey’s role in Gaza and Syria, given Turkey’s role as a guarantor in the ceasefire established in Gaza.

Turkey’s participation in the international stability force deployed to Gaza during the second phase of the ceasefire in Israel is being discussed.

The Tel Aviv administration reiterated its opposition to Turkey sending troops to the international stability force expected to be stationed near the Gaza Strip in the near future.

However, statements supporting Turkey’s participation in the International Stability Force have come from the US administration.
