Within the scope of the free food distribution project to 2022 million students throughout the country in the 2023-5 academic year initiated by the Ministry of National Education, “National Education Director Adem Koca; Mersin Provincial Directorate of National Education is ready for free food service to 13 thousand 37 students in 069 districts.
Our Mersin National Education Director Adem Koca said, “We are increasing the number of our students to whom we offer free meals with the activities we carry out in 13 districts. Within the scope of the project, we are starting the 'Early Childhood Nutrition and Cookery Course' in our public education centers in order to provide the healthiest food service to our pre-school students. I invite all our citizens who are interested in cooking to benefit from this course by applying to our public education centers. From the first day of our second semester schools, we will distribute free meals to all our pre-school students. As of Monday, February 6th, 37 thousand 69 students will benefit from free food service in Mersin. We will increase this number with the works we carry out and provide free meals to more of our students.” said.
