Advanced and Safe Driving Techniques Training was Given to Bus Drivers in Sakarya

The Metropolitan Municipality continues its trainings for bus drivers at full speed in order to increase the quality of transportation. In the trainings given by expert trainers, Advanced and Safe Driving Techniques Training was given.

The trainings organized by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality in order to increase the quality and comfort in transportation continue. Advanced and Safe Driving Trainings, given by expert trainers in their fields, were completed in both theoretical and practical fields. In the theoretical trainings that lasted for 4 hours in certain groups, trainings were given on defensive driving, out-of-control factors, defense, risk awareness, weather and road conditions. In the trainings held at the SGM Conference Hall, experts were also given information on alcohol and drugs, timely and correct movement behaviors, insomnia, fatigue, seat belts, tires, following distance and loss of control.

Drivers on the practice track

In hands-on training, which is another part of the trainings, trainings were given on steering maneuver control and mirror usage skills in the slalom and reverse slalom course. In the parking lot, information was also given about parking the vehicle in one move and fuel saving. In the trainings provided with foam and pontoons provided by the Fire Brigade, information was given to 7 personnel at the point where they could train on Advanced and Safe Driving Techniques. At the end of the training, the status of the drivers were evaluated with the Driver Evaluation forms.
