'In Search of the Past' Exhibition Meets Art Lovers from Istanbul

Artist Vedud Müezzin's “In Search of the Past” Solo Painting Exhibition met with art lovers on April 17, 2022 at the Istanbul Naval Museum. The exhibition, which was opened on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at 15:00, is curated by Seyed Davoud. Art lovers from Istanbul showed great interest in the opening of the exhibition. The works created from the photographs of half a century of Istanbul were highly appreciated by the audience.

Curator Seyed Davoud expressed his views on the artist and his works as follows:

“I am honored to host Vedud Müezzin, who has won great acclaim with his works on the international art platform, at the Naval Museum and to be the curator of this exhibition. Artist Vedud Muezzin; He is a sculptor, painter and also a valuable musician who has been educated in Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan and many countries in Europe. The works of Müezzin, who has been living in Azerbaijan/Baku for several years, have taken part in solo and group exhibitions in many countries. The artist, whose works take place in group exhibitions in the Netherlands, America, Germany, Canada, Iran and France, has 17 solo exhibitions.

The works of the artist in the "Tracking the Past" exhibition; It consists of nearly 40 oil-on-canvas works, consisting of images of Istanbul from half a century ago. In addition to the reflections of old Istanbul, Atatürk's works were also presented to the audience. Art audiences embarked on a nostalgic and magical journey into Istanbul's past with this exhibition. We invite all art lovers to the Naval Museum until April 30, 2022.”

The exhibition, which will last until April 30, 2022, can be visited at the Beşiktaş Naval Museum.
