The validity period of the public service obligation fulfilled by TCDD Tasimacilik AS, which was previously determined as May 1, 2018, was extended until December 31, 2020.


The regulation, which was published in the Official Gazette No. 10 on April 2019, 30741, with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is as follows;

The attached "Regulation on the Railway Passenger Transport Amendment of the Public Service Obligation" to be put in force, Turkey No. 6461 Law on the Liberalization of Railway Transport has decided in accordance with Article 8.

REGULATION ON CHANGES IN PUBLIC SERVICE LIABILITY REGULATIONS FOR RAILWAY PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION

ARTICLE 1- The term "Council of Ministers" in the second paragraph of Article 4 of the Public Service Obligation Regulation on Railway Passenger Transportation, which was enacted by the Council of Ministers Decision dated 7/2016/2016 and numbered 9005/1, has been changed to "President".

ARTICLE 2- The phrase "Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications" in the subparagraph (b) of the first paragraph of Article 3 of the same Regulation, "Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs and Communications" in the subparagraph (c) of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. ”.

ARTICLE 3- The phrase "Council of Ministers" in the fifth paragraph of article 4 of the same Regulation has been changed to "President".

ARTICLE 4- The phrase “1/1/5” in the first paragraph of the provisional article 2018 of the same Regulation has been changed to “31/12/2020”.

ARTICLE 5- The phrase "Council of Ministers" in the first paragraph of Article 11 of the same Regulation has been changed to "President".

ARTICLE 6- This Regulation shall enter into force on the date of its publication.

ARTICLE 7- The provisions of this Regulation shall be executed by the President.
