In the action that took place in Samsun in November 2010, minibuses blocked the road, citing that their routes were restricted by the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality after the rail system was activated. A lawsuit was filed against 510 drivers who participated in the action and blocked Atatürk Boulevard for hours at the 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance. The case, which lasted for 2 years, was concluded in the past days. The court sentenced 510 drivers to 1 year and 8 months of imprisonment and ruled that the fine should be paid 3 thousand 250 liras.
Yaşar Sungur, the head of the Atakum-Türkiş Minibus Line, declared that they appealed to the Supreme Court of Appeals to the local court's penalty of 510 Turkish lira for 3 drivers.
